  1. After Burning in Water, Drowning in Flame out-sold every debut in Metal Blade's considerable catalogue -- a record the disc still holds -- expectations for the Adam Grossman-led Skrew follow-up were high. With a more detailed sound, and stronger performances, 's Dusted easily tops the group's initial offering. The programming and sample manipulation on Skrew's second effort exceeds their.
  2. Season For Whither Lyrics: Dangerous kiss to God mouth speak / An end to the story painted passion and blood / Crawl inside shelter from your storm / Plant the seed, cry out, tounges turn to dust.
  3. Skrew has always had issues layering both the electronic and organic percussive elements together in a truly head-bobbing manner, and while Dusted is definitely no exception in this regard, the ability to defer to more quality riffs fills in a lot of the gaps. 8. This is Skrew's second album and it's really excellent. I love the way that they mix soundbites and other weird noises into their music. Skrew are industrial metal at it's best, the guitars on this album are heavy and chunky, the vocals are abraisive and venomous, the drums are unrelenting and pounding the bass is perfectly syncronized with the drums and gives the bottom end a heavy sound but /5(3).
